Lelu

Lelu is a zelda-inspired adventure game developed by Jamie Rowan that blends retro aesthetics with modern 3D animation. To match with this theme for the soundtrack I decided to try and make the music a similar blend of styles. To me this meant composing in the familiarly "punchy" style of older retro games while keeping the production a little bit more modern.

Jamie also asked for lots of crunchy analog-sounding synths, and of course this influenced the aesthetic of the soundtrack quite a bit; "Crunchy, but never 8-bit" as he put it!
